Sentrex Eradication System

Chemical Free Termite Treatment

The Sentrex System is a unique environmentally friendly termite control early detection and eradication apparatus that was developed in Australia for local conditions. It is designed to wait passively on guard until termite activity approaches. Foraging termites will be intercepted by the underground antennae and redirected to apertures that provide direct access to high cellulose feed blocks within the monitoring chamber. It will take some time for termite numbers to build inside the monitor as they transport food back to their nest location.

The Sentrex does not trap termites inside and it is important that sufficient time is allowed for the feeding cycle to become well established. At the peak of this cycle, the termites inside the monitor will be treated with a toxin that they inadvertently transport back to the next destroying the entire colony.

After treatment, the monitor will be resealed and left for active transmission. This time is important to allow the slow acting toxin to spread through out the colony. The monitor station and antennae will then be cleaned and reset to provide ongoing monitoring of secondary colonies in the area or advancement of future subterranean threats.

The Sentrex system will not attract termites into your yard and is positioned to provide a favourable food source for advancing colonies before they reach your home.

Unlike other termite barriers available on the market, the Sentrex is a cheaper, chemical free termite treatment that is a eco-friendly, sustainable option in the long term.

We are passionate about preserving soil biodiversity and the millions of micro-organisms and insects that live in the soil. To make our contribution we do not use liquid chemicals or foams when treating termites to help preserve life underground in order for a sustainable future.

Action Termite Solutions are the pest control experts when it comes to eradicating termites in the Sunshine Coast, Noosa Heads and Brisbane Area.

The Sentrex Eradication System is one of the most advanced and reliable long term,

eco-friendly asset that will guard your home against termites.

We believe in making educated decisions when it comes to conserving the environment for our future generations. We share our environment with a myriad of other life forms that are indispensable to the diversity of habitation and it is essential that we coexist with minimal impact on fragile ecosystems.

Soil is home to more than one quarter of all life on earth, yet we only know one percent of this vast underground universe. Soil organisms are responsible for many critical processes on which all life depends.

Every termite colony has a single queen that can produce many millions of offspring in her lifetime. Each year subterranean colonies increase substantially in numbers and release alates to start more colonies. Over period the population density probing a building perimeter may become extreme.

A house is typically the greatest investment of our lifetime and termite damage is such high risk that home insurance specifically excludes. It is critical to protect your asset so in concession to environment, health and risk, please consider: Is it prudent to use broad impact pesticides in attempt to keep out increasing hordes or is it preferable to eco-safely eliminate all termite activity from threat vicinity?

How much does a Sentrex system cost?

A: Sentrex eradication systems form an underground surveillance network that will identify termite activity on the property and provide the best opportunity for total colony elimination. Capital cost is similar to a traditional chemical installation without the need for regular reapplications or ongoing monitoring fees. The only future cost is fixed rate treatment and reactivation after termites have been detected and destroyed.
