What eco-friendly pest control means to us
The term Eco Friendly is often used in pest control and termite industries. To be honest there are no true eco friendly poisons, they are that, poisonous. However, there are low toxic options and choices that use different chemicals that may only harm specific insects.
Eco-friendly pest control at Action Termite Solutions is possible due to our knowledge and experience. Understanding different the different products, and the amount and location of where those products are being applied is critical. This makes it possible to use less chemicals to still achieve the pest control outcome required.
Unfortunately, pest control can’t be effectively performed without chemicals. However, where possible we always choose lower toxicity products, and careful application to reduce our environmental impact. We also teach our clients how to deter or prevent pests, before spraying is necessary.
There’s no need to be applying excessive amounts of chemicals to areas that don’t have issues. Focusing more specifically on what it is we are actually treating and not just treating everything under the sun. This is a better approach.
Sentrex termite barriers are one example. Instead of pouring highly toxic chemicals into a system each year, Sentrex is a baiting system. You can monitor activity yourself and it only really targets termites as it needs to be eaten to be effective.
